My name is Hannu Rajaniemi. I’m a director and co-founder of ThinkTank Maths. I also write science fiction, and sometimes perform with the illustrious Writers’ Bloc.
I was born in Ylivieska, Finland, but have spent seven years in Edinburgh. I studied mathematical physics in University of Oulu and Cambridge and did my Ph.D. in string theory under José Figueroa-O’Farrill.
