The U.S. Cover for The Quantum Thief

Hannu Rajaniemi - The Quantum Thief US

The action-packed cover to The Quantum Thief, by the very talented Kekai Kotaki has already been posted by various friendly bloggers elsewhere, but I like this one enough to put it up here as well. Unfortunately, U.S. readers will have to wait until May next year.

Gosh, that’s very… American. It does respond directly to the text though, so that’s something. I love the British cover though.

The Quantum Thief is currently rewiring my brain. I think that something’s screwing with my exomemory, but I’ve got 55 pages left, so I’d better keep reading so I can find out! :)

I enjoy the new cover though I really like the original as well, AND REALLY LOVED THE BOOK, THE WORST THING WAS FINISHING IT. I am all ready awaiting the next.

If that’s what Charlie thinks, that’s just bumped it up my to-read list!

Sweet. I like the angle of the wings and the transparent text. The use of light and dark is also striking.

    Hi Hannu,

just finished reading the book. Don’t know whether you know what we do, but your description of “gevulot” is basically what we do for file storage (i.e. privacy even from us, precise sharing of access via key sharing, etc.) Cool, we’re science fiction ;-)

    Hi Hannu,

Did you write the book originally in Finnish or English? I prefer to read books in their original language if I can which is why I’m asking.

    Thank you!
