For a while now, my del.icio.us feed has had a category called futureshock. While browsing the news today, I noticed an article about mice brought to life with artificial sperm cells, and went “hmm, that’s funny”, and instead of del.icio.using it I went on to read other important publications like Chris’s Invincible Super-Blog.
As opposed to: “WTF they made artificial sperm and they made mice OMG OMG men are so going to be obsolete and we’re going to be slaves in a world of genetically perfect amazon women!” as any sane person would have.
So it appears that I’ve become desensitised to futureshock. Come on, world. You can do better than stem cell -spawned rodents. Amaze me.
