Thanks to Jonathan for mentioning this excellent presentation by Dick Hardt on Identity 2.0 at OSCON 2005. It’s a very snappy and fun delivery of a torrent of deep thoughts. For obvious reasons, Hardt’s talk is rather Web-centric, but illustrates very well why defining identity — digital or otherwise — reliably is going to be a very important issue in the near future. I’ll certainly be following Hardt’s blog from now on.
