I spent the weekend at Interaction, soaking up geek power, going to panels and generally having a good time. The most amazing development was, of course, that Charlie Stross won a well-deserved Hugo for his novella The Concrete Jungle, accepting it in a stylish kilt with the tartan of the clan McStross (pitch black). Way to go, Charlie!
Oh, and it looks like Nova Scotia was the best-selling book of the con, according to Joe Gordon of Forbidden Planet. Which gives me a good excuse to plug the book launch Thursday this week: Blackwell’s, South Bridge, Edinburgh, starting 6.30pm.
