I’ve got a couple of short stories sitting around which I’m not trying to sell at the moment and which, in any case, are from the time when I was still struggling with the fundamentals of writing fiction, so I thought I might as well post some of them here.
Here’s the first one: Naarssuk’s Daughter, an angst-ridden piece I was never quite satisfied with, for various reasons. It is, however, a toy version of something more substantial I’m working on now. Also very appropriate, since Scotland is all covered in snow again.
Be frank with your comments. Pachyderms have thick skin, by definition.
